Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was a turning point in the series. Fans know that even though the previous "Vice City" was a pinnacle for open world games and the series itself, it was San Andreas that made the game larger than life. Spanning not just a city, but an entire state, including a detailed, exciting rural area, the adventures of the Grove Street gang started off on their own small block and grew to include plane rides and FBI encounters.
